Twenty-Two Years of Silent Sacrifices 1

Twenty-Two Years of Silent Sacrifices

Raising triplets alone was never easy.

There were nights I cried in the bathroom so they wouldn’t hear me. Nights when I counted pennies for formula. Nights when I wondered if I was ruining their lives by trying to be everything for them.

But every morning, when they ran to me calling “Daddy Noah,” it was worth it.

I never told them the full truth about their parents. I wanted them to grow up feeling wanted, not abandoned.

I attended every school event. I stayed up late helping with homework. I worked extra shifts so they could have new clothes, school trips, and prom dresses.

I missed my own life.

I missed the chance to fall in love, to travel, to be young.

But I never regretted it.
